Small Business Benefits

My company is relatively small (90) employees. Seeking feedback regarding benefits such as vacation time, PTO,  unpaid personal days, etc for first year hourly employees. As it becomes harder and harder to attract qualified talent, benefits seem to be a roadblock when recruiting; even with entry level positions.

  • Carol - We just added a new benefit to our team internally that has received some great response. It's a supplemental benefit that includes Telehealth, Health Advocacy, Nurse Hotline, discounts on Alternative Medicine (i.e. chiropractor, massage therapy), Counseling, and a few other items in the bundle. It's not very expensive and provides some solutions that fill the gaps. I'm happy to share more or brainstrom with you if it would help you. Robin@strategicHRinc.com
