Work-from-home and in-office policy

Hi All!

I am hoping to get some data on work-from-home (WFH) and in-office requirements and policy examples. I'm specifically looking in the Cincinnati area at what your company's policy is around how often employees are asked to be in the office and what the flexibility is.

Also, if you had fully remote workers before, what are you now expecting of them?

Thank you !! - Brittany

Thanks for posting this. I think many companies are trying to navigate through this topic. I wanted to note that we don't have a policy on WFH or in-office.

I want to make sure people know their performance expectations and am not focusing specifically on location. What a person does have more merit than where they're doing the work. That's my philosophy.

If someone isn't performing, we're addressing that as it occurs. It's not an expectation that because a person wants flexibility in when and where they work, failure and chaos is sure to ensue. I'm stating that because of the position most companies and HR folks are taking.

Having a healthy, visible, consistent practice for work is what we've chosen to follow. It works and it's based on each individual - their needs and their roles.

Be glad to talk to you about how we do this if you'd like. - Steve
