What assessments do you use?

We're trying to determine which assessments you find effective in helping develop talent. So many of the approaches available merely look at personalities and behavior. The focus seems to be on gaps and weaknesses.
We're looking for something different because we have a culture that focuses on our employees' strengths. It's easy to point out differences and what's "wrong." There have to be assessments we could utilize to help us build on our talent.
Please share what you find to be effective. Your recommendations would be very helpful.

Not all companies are going to value this the same, but this is the only assessment I am familiar with that is not personality based and actually focuses on people's strengths and what area/types of work they will perform at best: 6 Types Of Working Genius: Discover Your Gifts & Transform Your Work.
