Struggling with Sourcing Entry Level Sales Talent

Anyone struggling with sourcing Entry Level Sales Talent? I source on Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter Lite. I've even used LinkedIn's full-blown Recruiter. I attend local college career fairs and try to get to know career services personnel at schools.

Our sales position is heavy cold calling (logistics brokerage), but since we are smaller it can be a much easier avenue to success for our reps.  We are lesser known with not a lot of brand power, but once we find good candidates they tend to be very attracted to what we have to offer.

Am I crazy, or is it really this difficult? (maybe don't answer)

PS not looking for external recruiters- not feasible to use for this evergreen job with high turnover.

An unconventional avenue that I have explored in the past for sales roles is hospitality.  Have a favorite server or bartender at a local restaurant, country club, etc.?  Ask if they may be interested in considering the opportunity.  People in those roles often have the personalities and work ethic you're looking for.
