My company is based in Ohio, and we recently onboarded our first California-based remote employee. We are a small company with around 40 employees, and I want to make sure we are properly identifying and meeting any California-specific employment compliance requirements.

I am looking for recommendations for either an HR compliance consultant, an ,a employment law firm, or company that can help us review requirements such as wage and hour compliance, required notices, payroll/tax considerations, mandatory trainings, handbook/policy updates, and any other CA-specific obligations we should be aware of.

If you have worked with someone you would recommend, I would appreciate any referrals or guidance.
