Return to work post injury

An employee is sent for a drug test and treatment after a work-related injury. Do you allow the employee to return to work immediately or after the negative drug test results have come back?

  • We usually wait until we have results back, but there is a Rapid drug screen so you can get the negative results the same day.  If positive, then it will usually take a couple of days.
