Ohio WC Managed Care Organization

We recently set up workers comp in Ohio and I've received enough letters from MCO's to rival the old AOL cd days.   Our Ohio staff telecommutes and I'm in Alabama.  The information I've seen says Ohio will pick a MCO on our behalf if we dont choose one.  Does anyone have a recommendation on the best course of action to take with the MCO? Should we choose one or let the Ohio BWC choose?

Sheakley is who I have dealt with the most in Ohio for these types of issues.

We use Health Management Solutions and they are great!  On top of things and communicate what is going on with the injured worker.

We use Health Management Solutions too.  I've used several through the years and their customer service and claims managements can't be beat.

We use Sheakley as well.  We have been very happy with the service.  They are very responsive and on top of the claims that we have had.  Best of Luck!!

I agree with HMS / Health Management Solutions for your MCO. If you need a TPA, and you're in manufacturing I'd highly recommend Ohio Manufacturers' Association http://www.ohiomfg.com/
