Employee Assessment Recommendations
(This came to me anonymously from an HR practitioner in the banking industry - Steve)
We are currently looking for a new behavioral assessment tool that can effectively support a multitude of things. We'd like it to help us with hiring and also areas like development, team building, and conflict resolution.
I know this may be a shot in the dark. Just looking for recommendations and would love to hear if you have any.
If you know of assessments that you're using that are strong and effective but may not cover all of the areas we're looking at collectively, I'd like to hear about those as well.

Good morning! I am a vendor, and I believe we have the best and most comprehensive employee assessment on the market which measures Mental and Personality Aptitudes with Validity scales that can be used for hiring, retention and succession planning. You can get more information about the Achiever Family of Assessments on our website at https://www.persprofiles.com/achiever and you can contact me at pattyr@persprofiles.com for a sample report. I hope to hear from you!

We love the Emergenetics tool! The behavioral assessment groups traits into colors, and our organization has really leaned in to calling people out for "you're being too blue", "I guess I have no red today", etc. It makes the assessment FUN! There are a lot of things you can do with the tool. We discussed it with our small teams/departments, and we have also done activities with our leadership team around it. Emergenetics International has individuals who will lead sessions. There are also certified providers outside of their company. Depending on the size of your company, you may want someone internally certified. They used to have a specific tool for recruitment, however they have stopped that assessment. In general, the Emergenetics tool is not used in the recruitment process. Here's their website to learn more: https://emergenetics.com/

We have an assessment that is used for both hiring and for existing employees. Our tool is validated, and legally used for hiring vs. some tools that are strictly personality tests. We have benchmarks for your specific jobs. You can also create your own benchmarks. Our tools measure personality traits, cognitive reasoning, and occupational interests. There are actually 3 levels of assessments that you can use depending on the job. We do have customers in the banking industry, as well as many other industries. They are also used for development and team building. We would need to understand what you are looking for in conflict resolution, but they can be used in that sense as well. We'd be happy to explain the science behind the assessments Check out Job Fit Assessments for Hiring, Promotion, and Team Building (pdservices.com)
