Pay Frequency for Exempt Employees

Just curious about what others are doing for the pay frequency of exempt employees.  We have been paying exempt employees monthly forever and are considering changing this to bi-weekly (in part because some states require more frequent pay periods).

Thanks in advance for any feedback you can share.

Hi Caseina. I have changed this before and it worked out really well because it gave us a steadier schedule for payroll, i.e. every other Friday, and the employees were a lot happier because they were able to plan their bills better around every other week.

We have about 200 employees with about half of them salaried.  We pay both hourly and salaried employees biweekly (every other Friday).  Commissions are paid out monthly.

Hello.  We pay all of our team members non-exempt and exempt, weekly.  We have approximately around 3,000 team members in three different states, NY, IL and PA.  Some state regulations require that employers pay their employees weekly.
