Use of LinkedIn during hiring process
I'm facilitating a workshop to help individuals become more find-able by companies utilizing LinkedIn Talent Solutions tools (i.e. LinkedIn Corporate Recruiter). I'm curious to find out if and how you use LinkedIn as a tool to find talent. Do you use LinkedIn Corporate Recruiter? Are you limiting this tool to types of jobs or is it all encompassing (i.e. entry level thru C-suite)? Look forward to your comments.
I use LinkedIn Recruiter. My role is recruiting for our salaried positions so I typically am searching for "professional" positions like engineering, supervision, quality, and IT. Within those fields I look at both entry-level and seasoned profiles.
A new feature with LinkedIn is a confidential way for individuals to mark their own profiles as "open to new opportunities". This immediately makes you much more visible to recruiters:
