Active Shooter Plan Training

Would anyone be willing to share their active shooter plan? I've reached out to ALICE, but I'm not sure if anyone else has had positive experiences with another organizaton or if they created their own.

thank you!

  • Hello. The MI State Police conducted training on-site for us and did a facility evaluation.  The training was excellent.  Many Sheriff depts also offer the training. I have also seen it offered by OSHA.

  • We also had local law enforcement come out and do training and evaluate our building.

  • We have coordinated with our local law enforcement office to provide the training onsite at our main location.  They create a real life situation for staff to work through.  We have offered the training twice a year or annually for the past couple of years.

  • You can also check with your workers compensation company. Many of them now offer this type of training.

  • We worked with our local law enforcement and they came on site, did a safety audit and then performed ALICE training for the employees. VERY well received by our employees.
