Any guidance needed for several HR areas

I need help in a few areas. I am looking to see if anyone has done a workforce plan. One of our auditor accreditations is looking for one for our organization.

Has anyone done a PowerPoint presentation on professionalism, harassment and bullying for all staff members that you are willing to share a template on?

Also, I am pretty sure the answer is no but can an LPN be a lead nurse when she would have to train and supervise RNs?

Does anyone know how long we keep the benefits enrollment forms for once the employee has been terminated?

Has anyone ever done a succession plan that they would be willing to share a template?

Thanks - Melitza

  • Hi Melitza, a LPN can lead other LPNs and Techs (Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Techs, or Medical Assistant in a clinic setting). Only another RN or RN APP can supervise/train the clinical practice of an RN.

  • Thank you Leslie. Our LPN and RN have the same job duties. I work for a addiction facility and our nurses dose clients. My manager was wanting to have the LPN be a lead due to seniority. We just need someone to train them in the process and steps they need to take to dose the clients. Also, someone that can delegate work to the other nurses. I tried reaching out to the nursing board but never received an answer.
