We have had issues with onboarding at our company. It has been hard. We have tried several things and nothing has stick yet. Currently we are working with a mentor program, where our new employees are assigned to a mentor who meets with them weekly their first 3 months and biweekly the second 3 months. We have them talk about things related to the job and what help they need and what the new hires fell they need or what they feel is going well. The mentors have to turn in paperwork signed by their self, the mentee and the manager. If they complete the program, the mentor receives a monetary bonus if the new hire stays on 6 months, and another bonus if they are with us after a year.
