Salary Survey Recommendations
(This came to me anonymously from an HR practitioner. - Steve)
Our company hasn't participated in a salary survey for quite some time. I'm not even sure what to consider because what I've seen ranges from too simple to very complex.
What are some resources you've used? I'd like to hear your suggestions and your experience with the surveys.

Depending on location if you belong to an employers' group that is typically a service offered. Here in NW Ohio there is The EA, and if you participate in The EA's annual survey you receive the full results. In terms of content this source is excellent as it drills down into specific geo areas in NW Ohio, organization size, union or non-union, etc.

As a smaller (75 ee) company in Cincinnati we use Employers Resources Association for some local benchmarking, as a member if you participate in surveys you get the results. https://hrxperts.org/
