Looking to Revamp Our Employee Handbook

(This came to me from Brittany Yeager - an HR peer !! - Steve)

I wanted to ask if anyone had any guidance, or examples, of kinder and gentler written employee handbooks. We are trying to revamp ours to sound more friendly and less harsh. I was wondering if you had any examples or could point me in the right direction?

I'd appreciate any examples or resources you could suggest.

Thanks - Brittany

I inherited a handbook that every page seemed to have reminders that the employees were at will and most every policy reminded people that if they violated it they could be disciplined up to and including termination. You don't need to say that but once; you are not losing your ability to discipline folks if your remove the constant reminders of how expendable they are.
