Recruiting: Laws Restricting Interview Questions about Current Salary
Some states and municipalities have implemented laws to restrict how much you can ask an applicant about their current salary. See the attached article relating to this. Companies I am working with have definitely been impacted by this. Most have decided to change policy/approach on this across the US and not just the limited locations where this is now legally prohibited.
