Employee Assistance Program Suggestions

(This came in Anonymously)

We're a mid-size company in Cincinnati, and I've been asked to look for possible EAP programs to offer our employees. Would you please list some suggestions about programs and what they do/don't offer?

Thanks.

  • Hi Steve,

Our EAP - Be!Wellness Solutions (formerly EARN) has been serving the Tri State region for over 40 years meeting the needs of employers and employees located here in the area and across the nation. Our EAP prides itself in responsiveness and flexibility to not only put together a contract that makes sense for each organization but also in the administering of the benefit. Since we are smaller we have the ability to adapt and be flexible when meeting the needs of the employers and employees.  Service is our number one priority. Our goal is to help you maintain a healthy, happy, productive work force. Our current companies range in size from 20 up to 1200 employees, with our average size around 150. We tend to cater to the smaller companies. We design the EAP benefit for each company to include a specified number of sessions; 24 hour answering service; on site seminars and trainings; crisis response; management of mandatory referrals; fitness for duty assessments; consultations on performance issues; coordination of wellness initiatives and more. If you would like additional information on what sets us apart I would be happy to speak with you! Please feel free to contact me directly at (513) 354-5642 or email me at dhansen@gcbhs.com

My clients have access to ENI BalanceWorks which offers a robust EAP program including therapeutic counseling referrals, legal consultation w/local attorneys, financial advising referrals and a virtual personal assistant and so much more! Additional services include DirectAccess (ombuds), grievence counseling services and employee surveys.  At one time they also offered a health advocate product as well.
