Looking for HRIS System Recommendations

A friend of mine is an accounting manager for a local coffee chain that's growing. They currently have 220 employees in separate locations across Louisville and Southern Indiana and are opening two more stores before the end of 2017 which will bring their head count up to 270 employees.
They have no formal HR system, an office manager who does most of the filing, on-boarding, etc. and are looking for an HRIS system and payroll system that will implement with their POS timekeeping system.
I suggested a cloud based system. The accounting manager wants something that is payroll, online on-boarding, and electronic time off request. Any thoughts or suggestions I can give her?

We use Paycor for our HRIS and are pleased with it. They seem to be responsive with what their users need and want for system features. Not sure if it would be compatible with your POS timekeeping system but you could check it out.

We use Workday which has an app and is cloud based. I am very pleased with it.
