EE Communication - access to "all employee" distribution list
I'm curious how other companies handle employee access to the "all employee" email distribution list. Do you restrict access to who can email to "all employees"? If so, how?
We recently moved to a global implementation of MS Outlook. We are finding that if we restrict locally, we are automatically restricting globally too, which is preventing our parent company from sending necessary communication to all employees. For now we have opened up access to all employees. Not sure if this is wise long term.

We decided to restrict our all distribution list as well and ran into a similar situation with our parent company. We identified the individuals from our parent company who are most active with sending out company wide emails and included them on the distro list. If someone outside of that list has a need for a company wide email, they reach out to someone in People Resources to send to our population. It may help to identify a communication team for company wide emails so important items don't get lost. I hope this helps!
