Attendance Redemption Policies?
We use an attendance program that allows five full day unexcused absences (excludes vacation, LOA, etc...) before termination, received in half day increments. We're looking into allowing associates to redeem these unexcused absences and would love to hear what others are doing in this area. Thank you.

In our attendance policy, production employees receive 5 "call in days", but employees must have PTO to cover those days off to be excused. In our PTO policy, production employees can carry over 40 hours of accrued and unused PTO and can cash in up to 40 hours of accrued and unused PTO if not used by 12/31. Similar, but not exactly your situation. I hope that helps!
