Turnover Reports

How does your business measure turnover/retention?  For the past 3 years, we have been reporting turnover by month on an annualized basis.  We aren't sure that this is what we want to continue to do and are looking for recommendations on best practices for turnover/retention reporting.

  • I report ours on a rolling quarterly basis (total terms over the past year/ average employee headcount for each quarter). Does a decent job of highlight trends or cyclical spikes. Happy to discuss further if there's an interest.
