Finalized regulations for the FLSA were published on May 17th, with an implementation date of December 1.  

Join us on June 2 when Barb Barrett, a former 30+ year investigator with the DOL’s Wage/Hour Division, and now an independent consultant, will team up with Jeff Shoskin, a partner with Frost Brown Todd, and Darlene Mack, CEO of HR Partners International, to review the ramifications of the just-announced changes, including those necessary for an employee to legally be classified as “exempt.”  

This session also will touch upon other sticky wage/hour issues (e.g., travel time, OT calculation, automatic meal deductions, salary exempt deductions, etc.)  that continue to flummox employers.  It is better to have your hypothetical questions answered here than real life questions answered during a DOL investigation.
