Employee retention and wellness programs

One of the biggest conversations I keep hearing from HR leaders is around employee retention-  especially when increasing compensation or adding new benefits isn’t always in the budget.

One area that can get overlooked is employee education and financial wellness.

We’ve been working with employers to provide no-cost employee education programs covering topics like retirement planning, budgeting and debt, healthcare decisions, Social Security, estate planning, insurance, and overall financial wellness.

There’s no cost to the employer, and employees get access to education that can help address some of the financial stress they’re bringing to work every day.

There’s also a growing body of research connecting stronger financial wellness and workplace development programs with higher employee engagement and retention.

I saw a similar discussion here recently and was curious what other HR professionals are seeing:

Are employees actually asking for more education/wellness resources, and have you seen them make a difference with retention? And with these resources, what type of topics are resonating with your teams?
