HRIS Analyst

Newark, CA

8 Month Contract

 

The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of human resource information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of System Upgrades (Currently Ultipro) upgrades or patches collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix maintains HRIS for all system tables documents process and results.

Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws performs scheduled activities recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

Serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with monitoring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities including integrations with other applications.

Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs assists in maintaining data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation trains clients on new processes/functionality trains new system users.

Drives the process flow documentation and seeks ways to create more efficient processes. Proactively prototype functionality in HR Systems leverage unused functionality to automate, streamline, meet business needs and address areas for improvement.

Run audit reports in HRIS, identify and clean up discrepancies in system. Trouble shoot technical and data issues. Provide support by troubleshooting issues &amp documenting.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or other closely related field.

5+ years HRIS related/ HR Data Analytics experience.

Experience in implementing HRIS/Payroll/Benefits systems/procedures experience with analyzing data and creating and using HR data.

Strong/proficient experience with Microsoft Excel required (e.g. pivot tables, vlookups, conditional formulas, data tables, etc.)
