Hello, my name is Michael Wheeler, aPHR

During this time of furlough, I am seeking a better position that will allow me to grow and build my Human Resources career.  Just about a year ago I began a career shift from higher education program management (leadership development, career advising, and mentorship).  I am particularly interested in recruiting, onboarding, and general HR administration.  I have experience in interviewing, background screening, and training development & facilitation including leadership development.   I also achieved my aPHR certification from HRCI in July 2019 to help build a foundation.  My full experience can be found on my profile.

I am currently looking for a mentor that can help translate my experiences into effective HR job searching and applications.  I’m also open to any leads on open positions and connections, especially in the Northern Cincinnati (especially Monroe, Mason, West Chester, Springdale areas).  I look forward to meeting and connecting with the group members!
