Job Summary
The Training & Development Manager will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs across the company, along with the prospect and client lifecycle. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our sales team, departments, and managers are equipped with the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to navigate systems and stay compliant with regulatory requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Subject but not limited to)
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Design and deliver effective training programs for our staff, managers, and other workgroups.
- Lead onboarding sessions and continuing education that build confidence and capability in payroll processes and systems.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions focused on education on tools, wage regulations, and company-specific policies.
- Deliver updates and refresher training as regulations or business processes evolve.
Training Materials & Documentation
- Develop and maintain engaging, easy-to-use training resources, including eLearning content, job aids, quick guides, and process documentation.
- Keep all materials up to date to reflect changes in systems, workflows, and regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create tailored resources that support real-world scenarios and team challenges.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as the go-to expert on payroll training and compliance-related topics.
- Support the internal team leads by offering insight into system use, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of cross-functional training initiatives as a payroll system subject matter expert (SME).
Assessment & Continuous Improvement
- Measure the effectiveness of training through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Use evaluation results to adapt and enhance training content and delivery.
- Identify knowledge gaps and propose scalable solutions to address them.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams to align training initiatives with company goals and ensure consistent messaging across teams.
- Ensure that updates to our system and product, or related systems, are integrated smoothly into training plans for all impacted departments.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- · At least five years of prior payroll experience is required.·
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills
- Tech Savvy

- Strong Relationship Builder
- Excellent project management skills.
- Someone who is a self-starter and highly motivated is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager, Implementation Project Manager or similar role.
- Experience with Zoho or other CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of HCM, HR, or Payroll technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to create content ideas through collaboration with the team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The employee will frequently (80% time on the job) be required to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally (20% time on the job), the employee will be required to reach out, twist, and stoop. In rare instances, the employee will be required to kneel, squat, climb a ladder, and crawl. The lifting and carrying requirements of the job require the employee to frequently (34-66% of the time) lift and carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
