 Compensation Analyst, Human Resources - Full time (32 hours per week) Cincinnati, Ohio

We are seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our collaborative HR team. This position plays a key role in shaping competitive and equitable compensation programs, supporting business goals, and leading end-to-end coordination of our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and related regulatory reporting. It is a hybrid work arrangement (in office 2 days per week) and based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
What You’ll Do:

Compensation Analysis & Administration

  • Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, wage surveys, and internal equity analyses to support compensation decisions, job evaluations, and ongoing maintenance of pay structures.
  • Lead the annual compensation process, including merit planning, budget support, and related analysis, reporting, and implementation.
  • Analyze salary, budget, and workforce data; design and prepare standard and ad hoc compensation‑ and budget‑related reports to support decision‑making.
  • Partner with managers and HR leadership to provide guidance on compensation practices, job changes, and pay decisions for their teams.

ESOP Coordination & Project Management

  • Provide end-to-end coordination and project management for ESOP-related activities, including annual valuation cycles, allocations, distributions, and recurring plan processes.
  • Coordinate ESOP data submissions, documentation, and participant communications; prepare internal summaries and project status updates.

Compliane Reporting & HRIS Analytics

 

  • Prepare and support required regulatory filings and submissions (e.g., EEO-1, pay data reporting), including data validation and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc compensation and workforce reports using the HRIS.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience collecting, analyzing, presenting, and translating data into clear, meaningful insights.
  • Working knowledge of compensation‑related laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HRIS, and other data analysis tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting ESOPs, retirement plans, or other benefit-related programs.
  • Experience with UKG system (HRIS) and compensation management software.
  • Professional certification in compensation (e.g., CCP, GRP) or progress toward certification.
