Cincinnati's HR.Hackathon - A Design Thinking Workshop for HR

In 2022, Cincinnati joined the HR.Hackathon Alliance, is an organization on a mission to transform HR with Design Thinking skills and techniques. The specific 2-hour event called a "Hackathon" is a new type of networking + hands-on learning event you don't want to miss!
The HR.Hackathon Alliance was started by Nicole Dessain, CEO of Talent Imperative (talentimperative.com) based out of Chicago, as an effort to make Design Thinking a common tool used by HR Professionals everywhere.
What is an "HR.Hackathon"? It is a 2-hour workshop where participants work on a real business challenge, listening to learn about it and then "hacking" possible solutions using Design Thinking techniques.
We are delighted to share that the Challenge Host for this event is Kroger and 84.51. They have a great challenge for us this time, so join in the fun!
Who is it for? Any HR Professional in the Greater Cincinnati area, or those willing to travel from nearby cities. No Design Thinking experience is required! Just bring your curiosity, empathy, and ideation skills and look to meet cool, local HR Professionals in a new way!
Where will it be held? It will be hosted at a Kroger Company facility in Blue Ash, OH. (The address is included below, with driving directions and parking instructions to follow for those who register.)
What else is there to know? By attending this event, you are also eligible for 2 SHRM credits, because you will be learning about Design Thinking.
Beverages and light snacks will be provided.
Ticketing Information:
- Limited capacity. Due to the event format, we have a maximum of 50 seats available. So register early!
- Tickets are $40.00 per person, with group rates and discounts available (email host to inquire)
- We want to give back! A portion of the proceeds will go toward a Kroger and 84.51 designated charity
- Ticket sales are refundable, on a case-by-case basis
- Tickets are not sold at the door
