This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end hiring process while ensuring superior candidate and hiring manager experience.

Primary Duties May Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Advising and consulting the business on the right fit,
  • Oversees the sourcing, screening, and interview processes in order to acquire the best talent to meet business needs.
  • Function as the talent champion that can energetically sell the role and the Anthem brand to candidates.
  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition process ensuring superior candidate experience; shepherd candidates and business representatives through the process.
  • Partner with human resource business partners and talent acquisition program managers. Serve as a single point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout recruiting process.
  • Consult hiring managers on talent needs and recommend candidate slate.
  • Develop sourcing strategies in conjunction with the hiring manager and sourcing team.
  • Partner with coordinators in supporting seamless candidate process.
  • Conduct phone screens for candidates.
  • Aggregate evaluation feedback for a final hiring decision.
  • Negotiate and close offers and communicate decisions with candidates.
  • Effectively utilize available technologies to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity
  • Provides staffing support for operational, professional or lower-level managerial positions.
  • Reviews personal requisition forms for accuracy, and ensuring that positions are viable.
  • Consults with the hiring manager to develop a recruitment plan for maximum success, and develops an interview process and guide for the hiring manager.
  • Interviews applicants and provides information to the hiring manager.
  • May solicit and receiving funding for recruitment strategy efforts.
  • Serves as a project team member on staffing projects.
     

Requirements

  • Requires a BA degree in HR-related field and/or marketing or communications field; 3 plus years of talent acquisition experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates required.
  • Ability to interface with candidates in an engaging and persuasive manner required.
  • Ability to partner with, advise, and influence hiring managers in a consultative manner to foster long-term relationships required.
  • Experience with both corporate (in-house) and third-party recruiting preferred. In-depth knowledge of the TA landscape in the health insurance industry preferred.
  • Masters’ degree preferred.
  • Clinical recruiting experience, preferably Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Directors, etc
  • Also looking for IT, Corporate, and High Volume experience
  • Professional HR / TA Certification(s) preferred.
  • Strong pc skills and organizational skills.
     

Additional Details

  • Positions will be working remoted due to Covid restrictions at this time, must meet internet requirements; must be willing to work in the office per Anthem guidelines as needed when all Anthem returns to the office.
  • This role will be based in ideal locations of Atlanta, GA; Richmond, VA, Indianapolis, IN; Mason, OH, or Norfolk, VA
  • Monday - Friday 8-5 or 8:30 - 5:30 Eastern Time Zone
  • Must meet internet connectivity requirements: Minimum internet speed requirements 3mb download/ 1 mb upload and be able to hardwire into the internet router (not wifi).
