A global, multibillion dollar manufacturing organization is seeking a Compensation Associate to join their growing Human Resources team.

Pay Rate - $27-35/hr, depending on experience

Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 5 PM, Long term, ongoing contract

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, review, evaluate, revise and approval of new and current job descriptions; maintain accurate, updated master file of all job descriptions.
  • Partner with and support company business areas to develop, implement and administer compensation policies and programs.
  • Provide the Talent Acquisition team with market data for new positions; work with managers and HR Operations on compensation-related issues.
  • Pro-actively perform salary research and ensure wages are in line with market analysis focusing on key/hard to fill/high turnover positions.
  • Assist in project managing the annual compensation review process for bonus, stock, and base pay awards across the company globally.
  • Consult and advise on regulatory issues including FLSA and prevailing wage.
  • Assist in completing compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine the company's competitive position.
  • Match benchmark jobs and maintain benchmark data across the organization.
  • Assist with ad hoc and clerical HR tasks on an ongoing basis.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ progressive years of experience in compensation and job evaluation.
  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
  • ADP experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Quality-minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate.
