Centennial an executive search firm is seeking a Human Resources Manager with multilocation experience to play a vital role in managing and supporting HR operations across our manufacturing client’s various branches. Located in Harrison, Ohio and this role will report to the Group President. This individual will manage the HR Generalists at multiple locations and the centralized payroll team. The compensation is $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build diverse teams who work to achieve business objectives by promoting collaboration, coordination and teamwork
  • Participate in the development of site strategies, goals and objectives
  • Manage succession planning process for appropriate associates
  • Provide oversight for the talent acquisition process and the selection and hiring process
  • Strive to effectively solve problems for the mutual benefit of the company and its associates and provide education and direction for management on contract interpretation, labor relations principles and effective conflict resolution
  • Communicate in a manner designed to minimize conflict and foster a positive relationship between management and associates
  • Manage Total Rewards programs according to company directive
  • Oversee policies, procedures and human resources information systems to ensure compliance
  • Responsible for compliance with corporate policies, government regulations and contractual obligations
  • Serve as a member of the site Senior Leadership team
  • Accountable for programs to promote retention
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Assist functional leaders with organizational planning, evaluating structure, job design, and manpower forecasting throughout the company. Seeks opportunities to do more with the same, or the same with less
  • Facilitate a positive working relationship between the Company and the Union workforce, addressing grievances as needed and including leading the Company’s negotiating committee.
  • Facilitate talent management processes which include assessing overall job performance, developing high potential employees, retaining key team members and promoting top performers
  • Ensure benefits are administered per the union bargaining agreement and the company’s corporate policy handbook

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate or bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university; Master's with a concentration in Human Resources preferred
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or Member of Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM)
