Sr. HR Roundtables - Tri County and Rookwood
HR Partners has been hosting a Sr. HR Roundtable in TriCounty at lunchtime on the Final Friday of each month for the last 2 years. We are expanding to include a breakfast group in Rookwood also on the Final Friday of each month.
The Rookwood group will meet at the Rookwood Tower (where we hold First Thursdays each month) from 8:00 – 9:30 on the Final Friday of each month, except for Nov/Dec which is noted below. Water is provided – people bring their breakfast/snack they want one. The group is facilitated by me and Mimi Moller, a longtime HR professional in the area.
The Tri County group meets from 12:00 – 1:30pm on the Final Friday of each month, except for Nov/Dec which is noted below. Water is provided – people bring their lunch if they want one. It is facilitated by me and Sandi Melillo of ScrogginsGrear (who supplies the room for us each month). They are located on Tri-County Parkway.
Here are the basic parameters of the group(s):
§ Must have a minimum of 7 years in HR plus certification – OR – 10+ years in HR
§ Must be currently employed as in internal HR professional
§ We maintain the groups to have no direct competitors to allow for comfortable conversation/sharing; only one per company per group
§ $100 per year to participate, pro-rated for the balance of this year ($50)
§ Water is provided – may bring your own breakfast/lunch
§ Meet 11 times – the Nov/Dec meetings are combined into one due to the holidays – this session is held the second Friday in Dec and is usually a potluck celebration along with the sharing
§ Members are expected to attend as much as possible, as the purpose of the group is to develop tight relationships and rely on each others’ input; minimum of 7-8 meetings per year
§ Members encouraged to share/request help via email in between meetings. We are here to support each other!
§ What is shared with the group, stays in the group. Confidentiality is key!
If you are interested in either group, please respond asap, and no later than Wednesday, June 28th, as the first meeting is June 30th. Please note in WHICH GROUP you are interested. To be fair, we are offering the spots to the first ones to respond – we have only 3-4 openings in each group at this point. Both groups max out at 25.
