With the U.S. government shutdown, it's apparent that furloughed employees are in dire straights. I'm looking for ways in which I can help those being affected. 

Does anyone know of organizations supporting furloughed workers? I'm not looking to collect donations. Rather, I'm looking to put together a list, or contribute to an existing one, in order to amplify its reach and potential impact.
