Public Sector Customer Service Training
A colleague of mine is looking for a training class that he can send a couple of Trouble Call Responders to who work in the public utility industry. The majority of the customer service training at the level he feels they need focuses on sales and retaining customers. This is not their focus, being a public service utility. He has found some "Public Sector Customer Service" type articles, which is more in line with what they are looking for. Does anyone know of any training classes in the Cincy/NKY region that these folks could attend? Budget is minimal - a few hundred dollars. Thank you!

I am in county public sector (dev. disabilities) and have hired and have attended sessions with Scott Warrick. https://scottwarrick.com/ go to Training & Speaking. He is an attorney who is passionate about people and the law. He is direct and has humor. I really enjoy him because it isn't fluff talk. He's real world and researched. Not everyone enjoys this style but I retain and use what he's taught. He has audio bits on his website so you can listen to him and judge yourself.
We used him for an in-service session that got into conflict resolution. He taught the emotional intelligence of it and the science of how our bodies react when there is conflict. His price was able to be negotiated and I felt it very fair.
He's really intelligent and knows public sector law requirements and can work with private sector too.
