HR Administrator for Deer Park Roofing - Cincinnati, OH

We are looking for an HR Administrator to join us at Deer Park Roofing. Look at the description below and let us know if you're interested in being considered.

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Human Resources Director with our recruiting efforts, staff training and development, and retention strategies, but would also include supporting the office staff and management as needed with daily operations. The HR Administrator is also responsible for representing the company in a professional manner while adhering to the Deer Park Roofing Core Values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required with other duties that may be assigned.

Human Resources
1.    Create new hire packets and employee folders. 
2.    Assist in the new hire orientation and onboarding process.
3.    Maintain accurate DataForma and electronic employee files.
4.    Assist in employee benefit questions, monthly reconciliations, and the annual open enrollment process.
5.    Assist in updating procedures, phone lists, polices, and other employee programs as needed.
6.    Assist with performance evaluation program and ongoing employee development projects. 
7.    Distributes information and paperwork to employees as needed. 
8.    Assist with Deer Park Roofing social media efforts. 
9.    Ensures employee paperwork is filed timely and correctly. 
10.    Assist in the recruiting process as needed. 
11.    Complete projects or duties as needed for the Human Resources Director, Office Manager and President. 

Office Support
1.    Direct calls to the appropriate staff members to ensure best results.
2.    Manage the phone calls responsively and with a sense of urgency, reducing the number of calls that end up in a staff member’s voicemail.
3.    Schedule sales appointments with customers and employees in DataForma.
4.    Manage company information in the Dataforma website, ensure data is correct and updated daily
5.    Assist in management in documentation and filing of all paid jobs, unpaid jobs, and jobs under warranty.

Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position requires the employee to communicate orally, use vision to see near and far, use depth perception and hear at a conversational level .
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to constantly (67-100% time on job) use hand controls. The employee will frequently (34-66% time on job) be required to reach for materials, reach above the shoulder, and use fine finger manipulation. The employee will occasionally (11-33% time on job) be required to stoop and bend, and twist.  Employee will infrequently (1-10% time on job) be required to do repetitive motions, squat and kneel, push and pull materials, crawl, and use foot controls.  
Work Environment:  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The employee will continuously (67-100% time on job) be in a climant controlled office. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:  
1.    High school diploma or GED is required.
2.    Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business, or equivelant experience is preferred.
3.    Two years or more of HR experience focusing on employee benefits and recruiting is preferred.

Skills:
1.    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English/Spanish.
4.    Strong computer skills and experience.
5.    Strong organizational skills with attention to detail a must.
6.    Strong interpersonal, teamwork and organization skills.
7.    Ability to maintain confidential information.
8.    Customer service oriented.
9.    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
10.    Strong presentation skills. 
11.    Ability to prioritize multiple functions and manage work time efficiently.
12.    Must possess the ability to prepare written reports and correspondence; effective presentation skills helpful.
13.    Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Reasoning Development:  Interpret and follow all company policies and procedures. 

Mathematical Development: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.

Language Development: Ability to read manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak using correct English.  Fluent in Spanish is strongly preferred, but not required. 

Licensures and Certifications: Valid drivers license is required.
