Program Description:

In a workplace filled with different personalities, perspectives, and viewpoints, conflict is inevitable. This session will focus on the skills necessary to develop a positive, constructive, and effective approach to managing conflict. The benefits of understanding and applying the art of conflict management include better relationships between employees leading to a more productive work environment. .

& Adjunct Professor with NKU

Kate is a Vice President of HR for Etegent Technologies and Adjunct Professor with NKU. She holds two Masters degrees in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resources Management. She currently teaches courses in the I-O Graduate program that include Job Analysis and Selection & Performance Appraisal. Her background is in psychology, leadership development, law, statistics, and HR. Her work and research have led to results that produce change that is well-received by leaders and employees with her company. Prior to her current role, she was an organizational consultant and led the team that explored the latest empirical evidence to create a fresh vision and statistical model for understanding employee engagement, performance, and turnover. She works to help leaders understand employee perceptions and how those link to their business goals, performance, and engagement.
