GETDOT Cincinnati - June 15, 2017: Charity - The HealthCare Connection by GETDOT Cincy

Good Excuse To Donate On Thursday

Every month GETDOT Cincinnati gets together to provide a place for people to meet with a cause in mind – Cincinnati’s less fortunate kids. Every event has a specific purpose in mind and the Lincoln Heights Health Center is the charity we are supporting this month. Come out and join us at 5:00 pm at Tavern on the Corner in Kenwood for a drink and some good company for a great cause!

Charity of the Month: Lincoln Heights Health Center

The Lincoln Heights Health Center was Ohio’s first community health center, located in northern Hamilton County. It was founded in 1967 in a four-room apartment house with a $10,000 grant from Lincoln Heights and support by volunteer doctors and dentists. The Center provides primary health services including medical, dental and behavioral health services to the underserved, underinsured, uninsured low-income families in the region.

Over the past fifty years the need for services has increased and The HealthCare Connection (THCC) has grown and operates three main centers, the Lincoln Heights Health Center, the Mt. Healthy Family Practice, and the Forest Park Health Center. THCC has also partnered with 5 behavioral health co-locations to offer primary care services and has two Princeton Viking School based health centers to provide access to care for students.

In 2016, The HealthCare Connection served over 18,000 patients with approximately 44,000 office visits. The HealthCare Connection is proud to be celebrating 50 years providing primary health services to those that need affordable care. Our 50th Anniversary Gala is coming up on October 14, 2017 at the Sharonville Convention Center. For more information about THCC or the gala please visit www.healthcare-connection.org.

The admission to attend is a donation to the children’s charity of the night. In return, you are given door prize ticket(s) for a chance to win one of the donated door prizes.

Every penny raised will go towards the Princeton Viking School health centers.

First-time guests receive an extra raffle ticket when they purchase raffle tickets. You will also receive an additional raffle ticket for every first-time guest you bring.

GETDOT welcomes anyone at any level in all professions.
