Refugees & Felons
Does anyone have a program or experience hiring refugees and/or felons? Looking for what works and what doesn't work. What are your joys in hiring either of these groups, and what are your trials? Also, and to the point of the recruiting topic, where do you recruit for either of these populations?

Google Beacon of Hope in Cincinnati. Nehemiah Manufacturing in Cincinnati started the Beacon of Hope and primarily hires transitioning felons. They rely on social service agencies for referrals and are very structured in meeting the needs of this group of employees. Nehemiah Manufacturing is a for profit manufacturing company finding great success in business and the community with this strategy.
