One of the most popular events I have held in the past is an employee car wash where the management team washes the employees' cars. Big laugh, little cost

I would love to know what others are doing for this day. Right now, we do not have anything planned. We are thinking of a big crawfish boil for the entire plant or something related.

We have done handwritten and personalized "Thank You" cards and onsite food trucks.

Megan, How exciting. I always enjoy taking part in Employee Appreciation event. I like to think of the month and choose a theme. for example, summer grilling out and giving a gift out to each employee for all their hard work.

We had an EAD event last October that was Carnival themed. We rented carnival games from a vendor, even had a 9 hole miniature golf game going on. Employees ate, played and interacted. We got RAVE reviews this year! It was very informal and interactive. We also did an "ice breaker" where all 150 employees in 1 big room played rock, paper, scissors until there were only 2 people left. We then gave a hand made trophy to the winner. Fun day and nothing but positive feedback from employees.

My last corporate job, the President of the company went around the offices with a coffee/snack cart and handed them out to everyone. There were other events as well (cookout, raffles, etc) but I was pleasantly surprised at how well received that was.
