Sr HR Generalist opening in Bainbridge OH (Ross County)

Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has a Senior HR Generalist opening in our Human Resources department. This position will be a trusted business partner to assigned service areas and will provide professional coaching and administrative support to align high quality talent to strategic business objectives. The successful candidate will have a wide range of knowledge across competencies and experience handling multiples areas of HR. We are seeking an individual that is organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment and would like to work in a mission-based environment supporting children, youth and families.

  • Acts as single HR point of contact for Paint Creek (Ross County) and other assigned service areas.  

  • Full-cycle recruiting for assigned service area including new hire onboarding and training.

  • Provides guidance and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Provides guidance on performance management including coaching, counseling, career development and corrective action.

  • Addresses and resolves complex employee relations issues.

  • Administers and manages benefit plans.

  • Participates in projects to enhance and automate HR functions.

     

This position is ideally located in Bainbridge, OH (Ross County) onsite at our Paint Creek facility.    

 

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field; or equivalent work experience required.

  • Three (3) years of professional experience in HR. Recruiting, employee relations, performance management, benefits and/or training experience preferred.

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrated intermediate computer skills. Paycor or related HRIS experience preferred.
