Looking for Succession Planning Resources

I’m reaching out to ask if you know of resources for HR Pros when they are working with their employers to prepare for their departures.
I’ve given our executive team 2.5 years notice of my intent to retire.
Now I’m eager to help them define and decide what functions they want their next HR Leader to own.
In my 18+ years in this seat, I have a crazy combination of “stuff” on my plate. I want to challenge the guys that my replacement will not have enough history to do this hodge-podge, hot mess of activities.
We also know our CFO will retire within a year of me, so the landscape will significantly change.
