Your Role in Our Success
We’re looking for a thoughtful, organized HR professional who enjoys helping employees and leaders navigate the everyday moments that shape the employee experience. This role brings together hands-on HR operations, recruiting, and employee support with an emphasis on making our people processes consistent, responsive, and well managed.
Working closely with the People Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day HR activities across a multi-state organization. You’ll be a trusted resource for routine employee and manager questions, help connect talented candidates with opportunities, and support an employee experience that feels organized and welcoming from onboarding through departure.
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility and will work closely with the People Operations Manager on complex employee relations matters and broader HR initiatives.
Here’s how you will make an impact:
- Recruit and hire great people by managing the day-to-day recruiting process, partnering with hiring leaders, coordinating candidate communication and interviews, and helping ensure a consistent and professional candidate experience.
- Create a strong employee experience from day one by coordinating onboarding, orientation, employment documentation, employee changes, and offboarding activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be a resource for employees and leaders by responding to routine HR questions, helping employees navigate established policies and processes, and providing timely, practical guidance.
- Keep HR operations running smoothly by maintaining accurate employee records, HRIS data, personnel documentation, required notices, and other confidential information.
- Support a multi-state workforce by helping maintain compliance with applicable employment requirements, staying informed about changes that may affect HR practices, and identifying questions or potential risks that require additional review.
- Bring people programs to life by coordinating engagement, recognition, communication, and other initiatives that strengthen employee connection and support our culture.
- Use data to improve HR by preparing routine reports, tracking HR metrics, identifying recurring issues, and helping improve processes, templates, and workflows.
- Know when to escalate by recognizing when an employee matter involves greater complexity, sensitivity, or potential risk and partnering with the People Operations Manager on the appropriate next steps.
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
- Three to six years of progressive human resources experience, including responsibility for day-to-day HR operations.
- Hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR, particularly recruiting, onboarding, employee support, HR administration, and employee records.
- Experience supporting employees and leaders in a multi-state environment.
- Working knowledge of employment practices, HR compliance fundamentals, employee documentation, and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and details without losing sight of the employee experience.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with employees and leaders at all levels.
