LinkedIn Use

Hi there !!

I wanted to ask if you're using LinkedIn much anymore. I am. I like using it to communicate, share articles, and connect with others. I'm the odd one because I don't use it for jobs.

The reason I'm asking is that I'm trying to make sure to stay active on platforms where people still want to connect. The other platforms (Twitter, BlueSky, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok) seem to be pushing content out just to get it seen. I'm cool with that. I just want to see if peers are trying to stay connected or not.

    Hi Steve!

    Yes, I'm a regular user of LinkedIn.  

    I've historically used it to follow HR "voices" such as yours, as well as in the legal space, to stay informed and learn new ways at looking at the important work we do in organizations.  

    These days, I'm using LinkedIn to search and position myself for my next opportunity.  My profile speaks to what I've done and I'm posting more so that recruiters and potential employers can get to know how I think and approach work. 

    I don't use the other social media sites for work related content anymore.
