Paperless - New Hire & Employee Files

I'm looking at going paperless - specifically for new hire paperwork and employee files.  We are a mid-sized manufacturing company (175 employees).  Anyone else done the same?  What companies or format did you go with?  What tips can you share?  Thank you!

  • Hi!
We have 200 employees and switched from a local company to PayChex flex. It helped transition us to paperless but as a HRIS it has left something to be desired and now I am sourcing elsewhere. For a fully integrated solution Paycor looked awesome albeit a bit dated and I’m looking to have a system that has a better UX & UI.

I use Lever for an ATS which will feed into Rippling, Bamboo or Sapling. Rippling seems stronger for payroll and has single sign-on (ease of use for employee) and has some great integration with 15five (trounces EE on Bamboo).

it also all depends on budget too.

Let me know if you have any questions as I am over demoing and sales people and would love to help you avoid going down that rabbit hole

We have 120 employees in 5 states with 12 different locations (wholesale plumbing sales).  We put into place GoCo last year and I am very happy with service and implementation.  They are constantly improving processes and for me it was best user friendly option as many of my employees are still very old school.  I use JazzHR as my ATS and they work together.

We have 115 employees in MN and have used Namely for a couple of years and really like it.  It allows a new hire to create their onboarding profile and complete the old onboarding paperwork electronically and stores it in their profile.  I don't have much paper to file anymore so I love it.  We are working towards creating electronic performance reviews within Namely as well.  There are many ways to customize the system to work for you.  We track licensures and credentials as well.  We currently are not using the payroll services but do use it now for benefit enrollment and management.  It has saved my life!
