Director Human Resources - Talbert House

POSITION SUMMARY

Talbert House has a rare opportunity for a skilled and dynamic Human Resources professional. The Director of Human Resources will oversee all HR related functions in a fast paced non-profit agency with over 800 employees and multiple locations across the Greater Cincinnati area.  By leading a department of 10 staff, this individual will ensure a positive customer experience while achieving quality outcomes.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer

Job duties include:

  • Administrative operations across Human Resources Department including: employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration.

  • All aspects of operations – strategic planning, financial oversight, resource allocation, management and meeting related outcomes.

  • Prepare, plan and oversee policies and procedures having impact on human resources; ensures operations are in compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Direct the planning, implementation, and execution of major initiatives/projects.

  • Ensure excellent customer service both internally and externally.

  • Ensure continuous quality improvement, quality assurance and compliance across agency.

  • Ensure compliance with all appropriate local, state, and federal regulatory and accreditation standards.

  • Facilitates understanding, acceptance and skill in use of outcome measures.  Use data, research and analytic skills to continually improve operations

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related area plus 8 years of related experience or;

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related area plus 10 years of related experience

SPHR or PHR preferred.
