HR Manager - Columbus, GA

Talent Connections, LLC (www.talentconnections.net) has been asked to identify an HR Manager for a transformative manufacturing plant in Columbus, GA.         

The Opportunity

As a key member of the Plant Management Team, the HR Manager serves as the primary HR liaison for managers and employees.  Primarily responsible for explaining HR policies and procedures and facilitating timely resolutions to issues or concerns among associates. Promotes direct communications and positive rapport in the work environment. Ensures efficient employment process, including recruiting for internal and external open positions. Assists in the coordination, analysis, and delivery of various HR programs and projects. 

• Partnering with Division and HR Leadership, this position responsible for employee and labor relations, staffing, performance management, training and development, and administration of HR policies, procedures and processes 
• Ensure legal compliance as it relates to employment practices throughout the organization and providing guidance. 
• 5+ years of recent human resources generalist experience, plus 1-2 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree required; PHR or SPHR is preferred. Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment
• The ideal candidate will be self-starter who can interact with all levels of the organization and promote a positive workplace culture
