HR Partners - HR Roundtables 2024
Looking for a way to expand your HR network, get advice on best practices and support from like-minded HR professionals?  I’d like to invite you to join one of our monthly HR roundtables – we started these 10 years ago for those information and “HR therapy” needs!  

We currently have 4 groups (3 in-person and one virtual) and possibly adding two more– we keep growing as no one leaves the groups!  All roundtables earn 1.5 SHRM/HRCI credits each month.  Groups include: 

• Afternoon of First Thursdays legal seminar in Rookwood from 2:30 – 4:00 pm
• Day after the First Thursdays seminars each month (usually falls on the first Friday), 8:30 to10:00 am in Rookwood
• Day after First Thursdays (usually falls on the first Friday) Noon - 1:30pm in Union Centre
• Virtual Group – 3rd  Weds from noon – 1:30 pm

Coming in early 2024:

• Virtual Group – 3rd  Weds from 8:30 – 10:00 am
• Possible NKY group

Here are some items about the group make-up:

• Groups are limited to 25 per group
• The same people participate in the same group each month
• No more than one person per organization per group
• No competing industries in the same group, in order to maintain an open environment for confidential discussion
• Participants must be internal HR professionals or serving in the HR role within an organization
• Participants agree to make the meetings a priority, committing to attend a minimum of 80+% of the time.  In between meetings, participants regularly email each other for advice – all is strictly confidential
• Groups also receive lots of extras, such as heads-up on upcoming HR issues, full-group (100+ members) weekly digest (ask the full group, confidential), twice annually all-group meetings and much more…
