This fall's virtual leadership conference features three dynamic sessions led by Miami University Farmer School of Business HR students, covering AI innovation, the evolution of health care, and the growing challenge of ghosting in hiring.

This is BWSHRM’s largest fundraiser for the Student Certification Scholarship — with all proceeds directly supporting students in obtaining their SHRM-CP certification.

AI in HR — Leveraging Platforms to Transform Learning and Talent Development
Artificial Intelligence is transforming how HR professionals train, engage, and develop talent. Explore how platforms like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, HROS, and Lattice are shaping the future of HR learning and performance. Takeaway: Gain hands-on experience with AI prompt writing and learn how to verify AI-generated information for accuracy and ethical use.

The History of HealthCare in the U.S. — and Where Will We Go?
It’s hard to know where we’re going if we don’t know where we’ve been. Trace how America built its modern health care system—from early “sickness funds” to employer-sponsored coverage—and compare it to European universal models like Bismarck and Beveridge. Takeaway: Understand how the history of healthcare shapes its future and what it means for today’s HR and benefits professionals.
