Assistant VP, HR for Otterbein Homes - Lebanon, Ohio

Reporting to the VP/Chief People Officer, this role leads the organization’s efforts related to cultivating positive frontline employee relations. This is achieved primarily through advising leaders at all levels regarding best practices for managing people and partnering with others to optimize the employee experience in ways that improve retention and strong performance.

The ideal candidate will be a proven Human Resources leader with at least 8 years of HR experience with at least 5 years at the Director level. This leader will have significant experience in managing employee relations, safety and workers' compensation programs while minimizing legal or administrative agency involvement. There must be a strong track record of developing direct reports, confidently coaching and training managers and influencing business outcomes without direct authority.
