Over the past two-plus years, HR practitioners and our organizations have learned to be resilient, to be flexible, and expect the unexpected! Things we once thought impossible or improbable actually happened. We challenged our organizations and ourselves to ask, How can we do it? instead of saying, It cannot be done! We repositioned our organizations seemingly overnight.
For the GSC-SHRM, as we pivot back to an in-person conference, we are focused on reimagining our space and our signature conference. We are committed to delivering the incredible and current content that our attendees expect along with enhanced opportunities to network, learn, and visit with our speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and one another.
Please join us for the 2022 Garden State Council – SHRM’s Annual Conference & Expo, Monday and Tuesday, October 17-18 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ.
As we gather once again in person, our dedicated volunteers have designed a conference experience to keep you safe, engaged, and informed. You can expect new offerings, a new use of space, and a lot of unexpected twists.
This year we will be offering two keynotes, a general legislation session, three blocks for mega sessions allowing a speaker to take a deeper dive into a topic as well as four blocks for concurrent sessions.
In addition, your conference registration will give you after-conference access to numerous pre-recorded sessions to enhance your learning and bolster your recertification credits.
We are pleased to have two dynamic keynote speakers we know you will enjoy, Pam Green and Greg Offner.
Integrated throughout our event will be numerous networking and conference activities, including the opportunity to visit with conference partners & exhibitors who offer valuable services that can ease the challenges you face on a daily basis as HR professionals.
This year we will kick things off on Sunday afternoon, October 16 from 1:30-4:30 with a pre-conference activity, Wheels for the World.
This charity in action activity will have you engaging in small groups to earn bike parts to build a bike for deserving local youth. Offering tons of fun, opportunities for creativity and networking, this is a new event you will not want to miss.
During the conference, we will be raising money for the SHRM Foundation through an auction filled with experiences you can win as well as the opportunity to have new headshots taken. The SHRM Foundation's mission is to mobilize the power of HR and activate the generosity of donors to lead positive social change impacting all things work. The Foundation is committed to elevating and empowering HR as a social force through its innovative solutions to workplace inclusion challenges, programming designed to inspire and empower the next generation of HR leaders, and awarding scholarships and professional development grants to educate and develop students and HR professionals.
The SHRM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management.
